ATMA admission & counselling process
- 1
Step 1 — Validate ATMA score
ATMA candidates must validate their ATMA result using PID and password through the ATMA candidate login on the official portal (https://apply.atmaaims.com/) before applying to participating institutes. ATMA advises admission authorities to validate scores prior to offering admission.
- 2
Step 2 — Obtain official ATMA scorecard
Download and print the ATMA scorecard from the ATMA candidate login on https://apply.atmaaims.com/ and keep a copy of the registration form and PID/password for institute verification.
- 3
Step 3 — Apply to participating institutes
Consult the official ATMA participating institutes list (https://www.atmaaims.com/pdf/ATMA_participating_institutes.pdf) and follow each institute's application and counselling schedule. Institutes publish their own application forms, shortlisting rules and counselling timelines.
- 4
Step 4 — Shortlisting by institutes
Participating institutes shortlist candidates using ATMA scores (sectional and/or overall) according to their cutoffs and reservation policies. Shortlisted candidates are invited for Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) or other selection rounds as per institute policy.
- 5
Step 5 — Document verification
At the counselling/document verification stage, present original identity proof (Aadhaar/Passport/PAN/Driving Licence), ATMA admit card/registration copy, ATMA scorecard, degree marksheets and category certificates as required by the institute.
- 6
Step 6 — Final admission and fee payment
After institute selection rounds, successful candidates receive provisional admission offers and must complete institute-specific fee payment and registration formalities. Institutes will instruct on payment modes and deadlines.
Notes: ATMA does not run centralised counselling; ATMA is a testing service and participating institutes conduct their own counselling and admission. Candidates should validate ATMA results using the ATMA candidate login (https://apply.atmaaims.com/) and follow institute-specific counselling portals and helpdesks for final admission steps.
ATMA admit card
ATMA candidates must download their admit card from the official ATMA candidate login; ATMA issues admit cards for the specified centre-based online test and provides an admit-card printing date on the official site. The ATMA admit card contains candidate details, PID/Application number, test centre name and address, reporting time, exam day instructions and important identification requirements. Candidates must bring the printed ATMA admit card and an original photo identity document (as used during ATMA registration) to the test centre. ATMA explicitly requires candidates to use their personal phone number, email id and Aadhaar number at registration; the same identity details are validated at the time of admit card issuance. The ATMA admit card will indicate the test slot and seating instructions; candidates must follow the reporting time and entry rules listed on the admit card. If a candidate faces issues downloading the ATMA admit card, they should use the ATMA candidate login or contact ATMA helpline details available on the official site. Candidates must ensure the details on the ATMA admit card are correct and report discrepancies to ATMA through the official portal before the test date. Retain the ATMA admit card until the admission process is complete because institutes may ask for a copy during admissions.

ATMA result
ATMA results are available through the ATMA candidate login on the official ATMA site; candidates can print their ATMA result using PID and password. The ATMA official site instructs institutes and candidates to validate ATMA results through the apply.atmaaims.com portal.
What after ATMA?
After the ATMA exam, ATMA candidates should download and print their ATMA scorecard from the ATMA candidate login at https://apply.atmaaims.com/. ATMA instructs participating institutes and admission authorities to validate ATMA scores before considering candidates for admission. Candidates should consult the ATMA participating institutes list (https://www.atmaaims.com/pdf/ATMA_participating_institutes.pdf) and apply directly to those institutes following their specific application schedules. Keep original identity documents, ATMA registration copy, ATMA scorecard and academic certificates ready for institute verification and counselling. For any discrepancy in ATMA results or validation, contact the ATMA official helpline via details on https://atmaaims.com/ and use the candidate login to raise queries. Institutes may use ATMA section scores or overall ATMA scores differently; always follow the institute's instructions for shortlisting, GD/PI and final admission formalities.
