Admission Process
LBSIM Delhi follows a two-stage, merit-based process for its PGDM programs (General, Financial Management, Research & Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science).
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA). Final-year students eligible (must submit proof by admission). No minimum work experience required (considered for profile).
Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Based on valid CAT-2025 / XAT-2026 / GMAT (test dates 1 Jan 2022 – 31 Jan 2026) scores + overall profile (academics, work experience, extracurriculars, diversity). No fixed sectional cut-offs; shortlisting is holistic and profile-cum-score based. Expected cut-offs (approximate, varies yearly): 80–85+ percentile (CAT/XAT) for General category; slightly lower for specialized programs. Multiple exam scores allowed; best score considered. Application fee: ₹1,500–2,500 (online via official portal). Deadline: 31 January 2026 (11:59 PM). Shortlist announced in phases.
Stage 2 – Selection Rounds: Shortlisted candidates undergo Group Discussion (GD), Extempore (or Written Ability Test), and Personal Interview (PI) at Delhi or other centres/online. GD/Extempore evaluates communication, analytical thinking, and current affairs awareness; PI assesses personality, domain knowledge, career goals, and fit with institute values.
Final Merit: Composite score – Entrance Test (60%) + GD/Extempore/PI + Academics/Work Experience/Diversity (40%). Separate merit lists per program. Provisional offers released (last date for fee deposit: 18 April 2026 for recent round). NRI/PIO/Foreign: GMAT + interview. Scholarships awarded on merit-cum-means basis. Process is transparent, AICTE-compliant, and emphasizes holistic selection beyond test scores. Programme commences June 2026.
